Do we really have God in our life? We pray, we read, we attend services but is God really in our life or is it all just actions? How do we know if God is really in our life? When we can ask God what He wants of us in each moment and fulfill that moment of life with great love in those actions that He asks of us to perform.
Do you desire to look at the cross and put yourself there? I wondered many times how do I put myself and why would I put myself on the cross? The "how" is in doing what God asks with great love. The "why" is because we are supposed to be the image and likeness of God. Through love of Him, self, and others we would be fulfilling His great plan. That is when we "got God" in our life.
It seems like utterly simple concepts. Jesus was always so simple while on earth. Yet, why does it seem so hard to understand and act upon it? Human will power tends to lead the world instead of God. Human will power tends to act without love. Human will power leads to the lack of joy in our lives. Instead taking each new tasking and turning it over to Jesus with love you will find the empty nest full. The dark tunnels in your heart will be full of light. The moments of sadness will be real with compassion and you will be lead by Jesus through them with a continued lightness of joy. The typical stresses in life will not give you anxiety for by turning them over to Jesus on the cross and allowing Him to take them and suffer for you then He will replace it all with love. There can be nothing left behind when you turn things to Jesus, for otherwise you are not fully letting go of your life and your human will gets in the way causing mischief.
